Ok, after my last post I spent 6 hours laying out in the sun in my backyard writing out my thank you notes from my wedding shower. It literally took me 6 hours to write them because I wanted to make sure I personalized them and let my guests know how grateful we were for their gifts! We have very generous families and friends!!! I ended up writing 68 in total!! That’s a lot of notes!
Around 1:30 pm, I broke for lunch. I had organic turkey, mustard and pickles on sprouted wheat bread with a giant fruit salad. Nom, Nom, Nom!
I ate most of the fruit and about 2/3 of the sandwich. I filled up on the fruit, it was just so ripe and tasty-what can I say?!
Once I finished the Thank You’s I had earned myself some beer and pizza. I was so relieved to have them done. They seemed like such a huge task and it felt great to have it done. I also felt great to let our friends and family know how much we appreciate them!
Adam, our friend Jill and I went out on a triple date to Pizzaeria Regina. We shared a few pitchers of beer and an appetizer of eggplant rollitni. Yum!
I had a small piece of the eggplant it was delicious!
Jill and I split a Puttanesca pizza (our favorite!). I had two slices.
We spent the rest of the night hanging out and chatting! More adult beverages were had
Well, that is all for now, I will slowly be updating today to try to get us all up to speed. What do you have to look forward to?! You want a hint?! Ok, fine, you win
- Lobster and Chicken dinner (my friend Jill tries lobster for the first time).
- Race recap
- Blogger Brunch meet up with some fun girlies!!!
Stay tuned!!!!!

What do you think of The Carrie Diaries? I read it at the beach a few weeks ago – I didn’t expect much but I was really disappointed at the inconsistencies throughout the book regarding the show. I know Bushnell didn’t have anything to do with the show, but she should know that the ppl interested in buying the book were mainly interested from watching the show and not her SATC book that came out years ago!
Look at you go, ms. productive! Isn’t getting that nagging item checked off the list just SO satisfying? And you could do it outside, how lovely/hot! And, good practice for upcoming batches of thank yous!? You must be getting SO excited! You’ll be psyched later when you’re able to think back and remember this excitement and the lead up… even though there are those inevitable nagging things too
Go you!
12 days?!? Holy exciting!!
Thats a lot of thank you notes!
