Hello! I am going to catch you up in this post, so get ready for a long one! Well, Tuesday morning I got up and made a quick breakfast and was out the door. I slept in a little and was in a rush.
Since I forgot my camera at work on Monday, I still had to use the iPhone.
Breakfast was a mini whole wheat bagel with a little cream cheese, 2 hard boiled egg whites and some fruit salad. I love little platters like this, they are fun
Sorry about the weird angles.
Luckily, Tuesday I was reunited with my camera…I missed it and was sick of ugly food picks. I worked all day on a project at work, it made the time fly by, but I was super busy! I broke for lunch around 2pm. I had a black bean burger with American cheese on a whole wheat bun and a small spinach salad with carrots and peppers and a little ginger dressing.
After work I grabbed and ice coffee for the walk home.
Once I got home, I made myself a super quick dinner since I had my FINAL DRESS FITTING! I made a tuna melt. I mixed a small can of tuna, plain greek yogurt and chopped dill pickles together put it on two slices of whole wheat bread and added a slice of American cheese and grilled it on the Forman for a few minutes. On the side I had a mini plum and some kettle baked chips. It was so yummy, the pickles totally made it!
Once I chowed down, my mom and I were off to my fitting. I was so nervous and also really excited to see the final product, since my dress had to be taken in a lot. Verdict: OH MY GOD! I am in love! I really, really love how it came out!
Sigh of relief!
After the fitting, I was on cloud 9, it was late and I headed to bed!!! I can’t wait to pick the dress up next Friday and even better wear it next Saturday!
Tuesday night I fell asleep so easily, but then woke up- wide awake about an hour later…ugh! I tossed and turned for a while and then was afraid I would wake up poor Adam. So I got up and made some tea.
I read my book and watched a little TV before falling back to sleep around 4am…lovely!
Needless to say, I was so tired yesterday morning when I got up at 6:30. I had zero energy, but I knew if I just kept moving it would get better. Breakfast was an Amy’s breakfast burrito and a nectarine! It was super ripe and delicious- nectarines are underrated.
Yum! Oh- and again, needless to say…ice coffee!
I didn’t bring a lunch since we needed a trip to the store badly! So I popped into Subway and got a turkey on 9-grain, no cheese, and alllll the veggies. I always get the strangest look when they ask me what veggies I want and I say, “All of them!” Oh well, I love veggies!
After work last night I had a lovely walk home with my friend Melissa . We both needed to make a quick pit stop at the grocery store. Once I got home I had a quick snack of a few ounces of cottage cheese and then headed out for a run
I had a FANTASTIC run! I am fast again, people! I feel like I have been in slow motion since my half marathon! I did 5 miles in 45 minutes and felt amazing! After the run I hopped in the shower and made dinner. I had some sweet potato fries, broccoli and some teriyaki grilled chicken! It was sooo good!
I spent the evening catching up with bestie May and sipping chamomile tea. I wanted to make sure I slept!!
I slept all right! Yikes, I took forever to get out of bed and that resulted in a rushed morning! I made it to work on time though! Breakfast had to be something portable that I could eat while walking around the house! I made a blueberry and yogurt waffle sandwich!
And….coffee!
I am still pulling along at work getting things done so I can RELAX on my honeymoon! Lunch was eaten at 12 sharp…I was hungry. I had a very, very delicious salad! It had: romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, chickpeas, feta, artichokes and avocado. HOLY YUM!
After lunch I took a walk with some co-workers and got some carrot juice! So refreshing and tasty!
Well there you have it folks! You are all caught up! What a relief! I will see you all later on tonight

Where did you get your carrot juice? I’m dying to find a juice place in the area!
Where are the outfit pics chica??? Love seeing your outfits!
I totally agree about nectarines, I can’t get enough of them right now! Oh, and I order the same sandwich from Subway probably twice a week and get the strangest looks too—I don’t think they understand that I don’t want the creepy cold cuts, no, I don’t like sliced cheese, and yes, I really only want oil & vinegar!
The blueberry and yogurt waffles look delicious! I’m new to your blog and to the Boston area and they both seem great
I’m planning on running the Harvard Pilgrim 10k this Sunday but I’m not sure how to get there since I don’t have a car — any advice??
I agree with Claire!! I wanna see some outfits girl!!
I hope you share some pics of you in the dress
Don’t feel weird about your Subway order, back when I was younger I’d always order a turkey sandwich with only olives and olive oil on it…talk about getting weird looks!
