OH.MY.GOSH! I ] had a frustrating morning! My internet has been down allllllll freakin day! I got up at 7am and wrote my blog post, then could not connect to the internet to post it. It was so frustrating!!!
I took a break at 10:30am to head the the gym, work off my frustrations in Body Pump and come back to approach the problem a little less annoyed! Well, when I got to the gym, I found out that Body Pump was canceled FANTASTIC!!!!!! Just my luck, right? So I thought, well I will just run. Until I looked down at my feet and realized I was wearing Shox. I don’t wear my running shoes to lift weights because I BURN through running shoes, so I only wear them when running in an effort of conserve them. So, when I strength train, I wear a pair of Nike Shox.
Since I was at the gym, I figured I had to do something. So, I did something I haven’t done in a long time. The stairmaster!!! I did 30 minutes on the hilly setting at a level 8, it kicked my booty!!! My face was dripping sweat! I was thrilled to see that the movie of the day at the gym was Empire records, which happens to be my favorite movie of all time!! It helped make the time fly by! After the stairmaster, I did an abs workout and a inner and outer thigh workout. It was great to work those muscles since I feel like I sort of neglect them a little bit normally. All in all, I had a great workout even though Body Pump was canceled.
After my workout, I refueled with half a chocolate peanut butter green superfood bar.
YUMMMMM! I decided to relax a little bit in the steam room before taking a nice, hot shower. I left the gym feeling like a million bucks. After the gym, I stopped at the grocery store to get baking supplies, christmas dinner supplies and food that we needed. While shopping I nearly passed out from excitement when I saw these little guys looking back at me in the organic aisle!
WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Barney Butter???? AND ON SALE???!?!?!?!?!?! I totally looked at the lady next to me and said, “OH MY GOD, LOOK?!” She just walked away….Ok, so not EVERYONE gets this excited over Barney Butter, but they should! I bought one of each obvi!
On the way home from the grocery store, I stopped and grabbed some sushi for myself since I was CRAVING it! I got spicy shrimp rolls made with brown rice, and INHALED IT! I was STARVING!
While on the phone with Comcast (my internet provider) dealing with this internet emergency, I got so hungry again I couldn’t concentrate! I have no idea why, but I have been a freakin bottomless pit for the last 24 hours! Sheesh, I cannot get full! I had a serving of these baked sea salt and vinegar chips.
Today’s outfit is super casual!
Dark Skinny Jeans (Forever 21), Pink Thermal (Victoria’s Secret), Tall Chestnut Uggs.
So I guess today ended up balancing out! I had two super frustrating things happen and two really unexpected/exciting things happen.
Super frustrating:
- No INTERNET
- Body Pump being canceled and not having my running sneakers
Really Unexpected/Exciting:
- My favorite movie being on TV at the gym
- Find Barney Butter ON SALE!
Well, I am off to bake, wrap and do laundry! See you guys later one
