Good Morning! I ended up reading until 1am last night. I love reading and this book is awesome!

I highly recommend it! It is by the author that wrote the Time Travelers Wife. So, since I went to bed late, I slept a little later. I woke up very abruptly to the phone ringing. Wrong number! The same older woman has been calling my apartment with the wrong number for days. She woke me up on Saturday morning too. She actually called back 4 times in a row this morning. Adam was less than pleased. So at 8:45, I just got up.

As you all know, I love oatmeal. I usually eat it toped with a little nut butter and call it a day. Although, sometimes I prefer pumpkin oats. Well, this morning I got even more funky :) Raspberries were on sale at the grocery store this week for $2 so of course I bought some :) I woke up this morning thinking dark chocolate raspberry oats.

Oats:

  • 1/3 of a cup of oats
  • 2/3 of a cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 of a small banana

Toppings

  • Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Raspberries
  • Unsweetened Organic Coconut
  • Chopped Walnuts

It got messy, but was awesome!

Coffee, obvi!

1. Today’s Self Love Tip: Trust Yourself: Have confidence in your abilities. Know that you have the ability to make important changes for yourself, for as long as you put your heart to it. Trust that if you work hard enough at something you will achieve it. The best and most exciting things I have done in my life are also the scariest, because I could fail (examples: going for that job interview, starting graduate school, writing this blog). But, I trusted that if I did my best, it would turn out okay and it all did :) You can also support yourself by visualizing desired outcomes.

Well, I am going to hit the gym and run some errands in a few. We have an appointment with our caterer and linen company  at 1pm to pick out some stuff for out wedding :) See you all later!

Yum! Your oats look fantastic! I sometimes do a similar combination with dried cherries instead of the fresh raspberries, but I will totally have to try the berries next time.

  3. I am like a magnet for wrong numbers! I get them on my cell and at work at all hours of the day. So random. Great oats :)

Thank you for the motivational “trust yourself.” I have just recently been introduced to your blog, via CNC, and I am mulling over a very big career decision….you don’t know how much the simple phrase “trust yourself,” helped!

  5. Your oatmeal looks divine. I will definitely be trying that!
