Hello and good morning! Thanks for reading my first blog post! I am super excited about this new venture and hope that I will gain some loyal readers!

When the alarm clock went off this morning, I jumped out of bed and was psyched to start my morning workout, until I noticed the clock said 6:45 not 5:35?! 6:45= not time for a morning workout!  I guess last night while I was practicing taking pictures of random food in the fridge getting my work clothes ready, making lunch and doing laundry, Adam set the alarm for the time he needed to get up and fell asleep. I never checked it and went to bed, and just assumed he had set it for my usual 5:35. Oh well, lesson learned: Never assume Adam can read my mind and always check the alarm clock for myself! I will just have to workout after work, which is not ideal…but will do just fine!

Okay,  now for eats! Breakfast this morning is something I haven’t had in I can’t remember how long- a BAGEL!!!! This is not your normal bagel, I have stayed away from bagels throughout the weight loss process for many reasons, however, when I saw these bad boys at my local grocery store I was pretty excited. DSCI0911They are sprouted whole wheat cinnamon raisin bagels! I actually understood what every ingredient was and they were loaded with fiber and 9g of protein! SAY WHAT?!

DSCI0913This is actually my attempt at taking a picture at nutritional facts and ingredients for you guys…I need a little more practice…clearly!

I ate the bagel with natural peanut butter (you will be seeing a lot a various kinds of nut butter on this blog, just to warn you…you may get sick of looking at it. I am pretty much obsessed!) and half of a really ripe banana, oh and my vitamin. DSCI0914DSCI0915This is my gaint water bottle- I DRINK A LOT OF WATER! Always assume that I am drinking this with my meals unless you are told otherwise, I won’t keep posting pictures of my water because that can get borning, but I drink AT LEAST 4 of these a day.

While I walked to work (and gabbed to my friend Kara) I sipped an iced coffee from Zume’s (a local coffee shop) with an vanilla shot and half and half. I love Zume’s iced coffee! DSCI0916Now, for the fashion side of things. Today is going to be another rainy day here in Boston. I am wearing black capri’s (H&M), and white scoop neck t-shirt (Jacob) and a neon yellow cardigan (H&M) with black flats (Steve Madden)- these are actually my favorite black flats the toe is patent leather and quilted, which you can’t tell from this picture at all…sorry!

DSCI0920Kind of boring, but this weather is so uninspiring! I am working on my photography skills for you guys, but the truth is ALI NEEDS A NEW CAMERA, which won’t happen for a while…sorry!
