Good Luck, Osc!

Morning! Well, I didn’t post last night, I wanted to spend as much time as possible with this little guy:

Oscar went in today to be neutered. I know it is a normal procedure and his hospital does dozens of them a day, but I am super worried about it. Plus, he has to spend the night and I am really going to miss cuddling with him tonight :( Needless to say, it was a strict Mama and Puppy cuddle night!

Let’s back up for a minute though to lunch. Yesterday, before heading out in the 17 degree weather to Christmas Shop on my break, I had some lunch. My mom gave me some of her tortellini soup that she made earlier in the week. It had tortellini and veggies and was so good! I looooved it! It was just the thing to warm me up and fill me up before heading outside!

I also had the other half of a single serving of baked lays I found in my snack draw at work.

It was just under a handful.

Around 3pm, the office’s Holiday party started. I actually stayed at my desk and worked through it though. I have a ton to do right now, this is a busy time of year for me at work. I broke for a minute just to grab a quick bite since I knew I would be eating later becuase I was headed to the gym after work.

I grabbed a chicken skewer, some bean salad, some tabouli, a mozzarella and tomato skewer and two small piece of pita bread. Good pre-workout fuel :)

After work, I headed to the gym for the BODY PUMP 72 launch!!!!!! Um, awesome! This new routine is great. I loved it! It is super challenging and the lunge track is a killer! The chest track is also super hard! I had a great time, the music is great (although I was sad to see no ACDC :( ) and there are some new moves this go around! I look forward to working hard with 72 for the next few months!!!!

After the gym, I went across the street to the Prudential Center and got my mom’s Christmas gift. I am almost done with my shopping. I think I will finish up tonight…what a relief :) After getting her gift I hopped the on the train home, hopped in the shower, returned some calls from my part time job and changed into these:

I am on the phone with my friend Kara gabbing! These are my favorite Holiday PJ’s. Adam got them for me from J Crew a few years ago, they are one piece and have snowmen on them :)

While chatting, I cooked dinner. I had some tofulettes in my fridge that I needed to use up. They came already marinated in a “hot and spicy” marinade. So I heated them up in a large skillet, added the left over veggies from the pizza the night before, some brown rice and a splash of low sodium teriyaki sauce.

It was really good, the hot and spicy flavor mixed with the teriyaki went unexpectedly well together! It made enough for two servings, so take a wild guess what lunch looks like today :)

After dinner, I wrapped up my Bloggy Secret Santa gift so I could ship it on my way to work today.

YAY! I hope this bloggy really likes my gift! I spent the rest of the night relaxing, aw, is this what it is like to not have school? I could get used to this…just kidding ;) . While hanging around I had a little dark chocolate and a cup of chamomile tea.

This morning I got up early to say goodbye to Oscar. Adam had to leave by 6:30am to get him to the vet. I gave him kisses and hugs and promised to have a new toy waiting for him when he got home. Breakfast was a delicious bowl of oats. It was such an oatmeal morning here in Boston, it is frigid out!!!

Oats:

  • 1/3 of a cup of oats
  • 2/3 of a cup of Almond Milk
  • 1/2 of a ripe banana

Toppings:

  • cinnamon
  • natural maple syrup
  • peanut butter
  • blueberries

I mixed it all together and had some coffee too.

Today’s outfit:

Sorry, I didn’t realize it was that blurry!

Uggs, Skinny jeans (Paper, Cloth, Denim), White cami (H&M), Tan Long Sleeved Top (Jacob), Brown Sweater ( H&M).

Well, I got a lot of work to do, so I better get to it! See you guys at lunch :)

Good luck Oscar! I’m sure he’ll be ok, even after losing his manhood.

I’m wearing the same pair of Uggs today. Sooo warm and comfy!

Glad the new Body Pump was fun. I considered heading over to HW to take the class but decided to hibernate in my bed instead. This cold weather has been making me so lazy.
