If it ain’t broke…

Good Afternoon!!! How are you guys?! I am freezing it is cold up in here! It is certainly a cold and windy day here in Boston! But I had a nice warm lunch to look forward to!

My mom made some minestrone tortellini soup, so you know I had to have some! I took a small container with me for lunch. Did I ever tell you guys my mom makes the best soup ever?! Well, she does! It was awesome! I had it with the last of my grapes!

I worked while eating and then headed to Marathon Sports to get NEW RUNNING SHOES :) You guys may or may not remember that they stopped making my current running shoes (that I have bought 3 pairs of). So, I was nervous. Turns out the just made a newer version. SIGH OF RELIEF!!!!

I bought my new Sacony ProGrid Guide 2′s.

Hello, New Friend!!!!

I am naturally a mild over-protanor, which in English means that my ankles rock outward when I run. So this little gray area helps to keep me from doing that.

I decided to go with these shoes since they are pretty much the same as my last 3 pairs. If it ain’t broke….

While on my way back from the store I remembered I needed to register for Body Pump for tomorrow. So knew I would forget (super busy at work today) so I wrote a reminder on my hand!

It worked, I am all registered!!!

At 3pm I grabbed a coffee with my pal Ashley. I got a tall, decaf, skinny vanilla latte.

I also had a Chocolate Green Superfood Bar (Pre-Run Snack). But I inhaled it before I got to take a picture!!!

Empty wrapper!!!

Well, I am out of here! I am excited to run with my new sneakers!!!!!! :) See you guys much later :)

I wear Saucony ProGrids, too and I’m also at the point where I need to get new ones. I might try to find a deal online. Have fun at Body Pump!

Too funny, I just got the exact same pair and color two days ago in the mail from roadrunner sports!! Love me some Saucony Guides!! I have a closet full. I try on other running shoes but always end up with those.

And doesn’t BP just kick butt!! I have been doing it since 2003 faithfully when I was in grad school (yes I am an old lady!! well only 32). Check out RPM (spin class) if you get the chance, it is by Les Mills too.

I hate when they change the shoes that you have grown to love! Of course, usually the updates are for the best, and there are few things more amazing than the cushioning in a new pair of running shoes!

  6. I can’t believe you have to register for BP! Crazy! Tht only happens in the first couple months round here, when everyone is in their “Im gonna lose weight and go to the gym” new years resolution mode. I teaach my 1st full blown, all by myself Pump class tamale! yay! Ill be thinkin of you when I’m up there screamin at everyone to get on their toes in push ups. lol. HAVE FUN! Glad you love PUMP!
