AHHHHHH! I am sooooo stressed today! Honestly, I have so much to do and so little time to get it done that I am super stressed right now! I dislike days like this…A LOT! However, I am confident I will get everything done! I think I can, I think I can! I actually RSVP’ed to an event last week and forgot about it until this morning when I arrived at work. It is a dinner hosted by Suffolk University for the Greater Boston Guidance Counselor Association that I am now a member of
It is a great way to learn more about the University I work at and attend, but is also a great networking event for me as I will be looking for an internship this time next year. So, although it is adding a little more stress and pressure to get things done fast, I think it will be a great experience.
Anyhow, I did not post last night because it was my Birthday and I wanted to spend some quality time with my favorite people (and dog). Once I left work, I used my Free Birthday Coffee certificate from Starbucks.
I used it to get a grande skinny cinnamon dolce latte. It was the perfect treat for a rainy Monday!
And….as I am writing this, I realized that I had completely broke my Lenten promise of no latte’s until Easter. Do you think God will understand?! I totally forgot, it was an innocent mistake!
I spent my night hanging out with Adam, my bestie May, Oscar and spent a little time with mom and dad too! PERFECT! Dinner was my favorite comfort food, Pastina!
YUM! There was also some Birthday cake!
SO.GOOD! I got a lot of great b-day gifts! Adam is the sweetest guy ever by the way. Not only did he pay for my flight to Baltimore for FitBloggin‘, get a cake, and take me to lunch, but I came home to these as well!
A beautiful spring bouquet! And…(GOD I LOVE THIS MAN) guess to is getting an hour long deep tissue massage tomorrow afternoon?! ME
! Thanks, Adam!
Breakfast this morning was creamy banana oats. For the past few weeks, we were out of milk and almond milk, so I was making my oats with just water. This morning I did half water half fat free milk and it was soooo creamy and delicious. I forgot how much I loved this!Oh yes, I topped it with Barney Butter!
Obvi, there was coffee!!!! Look at the mug my mom and dad brought me home from Disney last week.

Well, the good news is that TODAY IS MY FRIDAY! Tomorrow is Evacuation Day in Boston, so I have the day off. I have a long run and a Body Pump Session as well as a Massage planned
Followed by a trip to CT to spend a couple days with my college bestie’s Kara and Crystal! Then I will return home Thursday night and will be flying to Baltimore for FitBloggin’ around 1pm on Friday
WOOT WOOT! If that doesn’t get a girl through the work day, I don’t know what will!

What is pastini?! Looks and sounds like something I would absolutely love, but no clue what it actually is…. thanks! And belated happy birthday!
It is pastina pasta (little tiny stars) I add it to Lipton chicken soup..YUM!
In terms of the “oops” latte — just remember: to err is human, to forgive is divine.
