Gooooood Afternoon
How are you guys doing out there in bloggy land? Good? Good!!! Well, we just got the call that Oscar is just now going into surgery! I feel so bad for him sitting there with an empty tummy for 8 hours not knowing what is going on. Ugh, when I think about it makes me too sad. Well, hopefully we will get news in a few hours that everything went well and he is all set. He has to spend the night regardless, but I am sure he we be really excited to see Adam and I tomorrow when we go to pick him up!
Even though I was worrying about Osc in the back of my mind, I was super productive at work today and got a few major things crossed off my list
YIPPEE!
As promised, lunch was leftovers from last night.
Still delicious!
Around 3pm, I had a pre-workout snack of a few Kashi Heart to heart crackers and some low-fat cottage cheese.
I put the cottage cheese on top of the crackers like the on in the foreground. I loved this snack, a balance of proteins and complex carbs…perfect for pre-workout! I have a very intense interval training date with the treadmill today after work. I will let you know how it goes. No going to lie, I am a little scared of it! But, this girl is not afraid of a challenge. If I am going to be running on the boremill, I have got to get in some intervals for the sake of my sanity.

Dear Winter:
Look at what I have to resort to to get in my beloved runs! You are mean and cold and we are not friends!!!! WARM UP for God Sake!!!

Well, I got to wrap things up around here, so I can scoot at 4pm for my interval/Oprah date. Anyone know the topic of Oprah’s show today? Hopefully, something that will hold my attention during my time on the boremill!
Tonight’s plans include my annual dinner and Christmas shopping trip with my soon to be mother and sisters-in-law. Always a fun time, hopefully I will wrap up my shopping tonight and be able to relax until the holidays (and by relax I mean, bake cookies, wrap gifts and cook for X-mas dinner
). See you guys later!
Don’t forget to keep little Osc in your thoughts…

I wish I liked cottage cheese straight up! It is SO SO good for you.
I use it to make a protein pudding – sugar free cheesecake jello pudding mix, fat free cottage cheese, protein powder (vanilla), fat free greek yogurt – whipped smooth in the vitamix and I love it!
Happy Weekend!
Katie
