Hey everyone! It was a cold and rainy day here in Boston today! The weather people said the weather was more like November, I agree! I took the train across the city to the school I was shadowing at and got pretty wet and cold. I was pretty relieved to get there and be out of the crumby weather.
The day was great! The counselor I shadowed was awesome. She had tons of energy and really liked her job. Unlike last school (that only had 3) they had 7 counselors! WOW, right?! My day was spent in a meeting and in a senior group and on library duty. Everyone was so welcoming and the kids were awesome and super smart! This is probably one of the most challenging Catholic Schools in the area. I enjoyed my day so much, it makes me wish I could go back tomorrow. But, it is back to my normal life tomorrow.
Ok as Sarah would say, Doin’ Time: Today’s outfit looked like this:

Chino’s (J Crew), Sweather (J Crew), Tank (Jacob), Necklace (My nana), Clogs (Dansko).
I love this necklace and the neckline of the sweater.

See Adam laying on out couch in the background?!
The Dansko’s are the brown tooled ones.

Lunch was a big salad loaded with veggies, Turkey left over from the weekend , hummus, cheese and salsa.

I also had a small cup of chicken veggie soup from the school I was at, to warm me up, I was cold alllll day. I am not ready for cold. I just want fall, not winter! I forgot to photograph it…sorry!
After I left the school, I took the train to my part-time job and did some work there. After that I ran some errands: bank, post office, grocery store. I tried to take some of my clothes to get taken in, but the tailor had left for the day. I am going to bring them with me to work tomorrow to see if I can fide a place near work that can do it. I really need to have work pants that fit!
While running errands I had a decaf coffee. I was craving coffee so bad, I think because I was freezing!

For some reason, I was snacky today. I think it was because when I am at work I have a few snacks, but today I didn’t. So, around 4pm, I had some pretzel thins with hot salsa.

and a few mini whole wheat cookies:

and a small handful of peanuts:

I didn’t feel like cooking, so we ordered sandwiches.

I got the “MIT Special” which was mushrooms, red peppers and goat cheese on focaccia bread.

This is my favorite sandwich ever, We don’t order food that often, but when we do, I beg Adam to order from the place that sells this sammie! The flavors work so well and I just love it.
Can you guess what dessert was?!

Pumpkin Ice Cream and Dark Chocolate Chips!!!! Adam tried it too, he loved it! I was surprised, he is so picky. Now that he likes it, so don’t want to share
Well, I am so tired. Time to hit the hay!!!

Cute outfit. I have a sweater like that, but mine’s from Old Navy. The ruffle collar is adorable.
The MIT sandwich sounds and looks yummy!
