Mounting Stress

Good Afternoon! I definitely have two things that are very anxiety provoking for me on my mind today. These two things are causing me to feel a little stressed.

  1. This presentation I have to give tonight with my group. I am kind of stressing about it. I am not sure why! I am a really outgoing person and always participate in class discussions in this class, I am pretty comfortable with my classmates and my professor. But, for some reason, I am nervous. Oh well, I am sure I will do fine. Wish me luck!
  2. PACKING!!! I always get stressed out a little bit packing for a trip. I am so afraid to forget something (like my running shoes) that I really need! I have not packed yet and will be leaving in a little more than 24 hours (YAY!).  Once the packing is done, checked and re-checked again I will breathe easy. I am packing tonight after class.

I did an abs and legs workout (in addition to the squats I did while brushing my teeth) today in the gym on the first floor of my building. It felt great. I love “active rest” days (but not nearly as much as I love plain ol’ “active” days).

For lunch I had this soup:

IMG_0072I tried the black bean vegetable flavor last week and i wasn’t a huge fan. I decided that if I didn’t this kind today, I would not buy these soups again (I usually eat the soups made my Amy’s organic kitchen-but decided to try something different and bought these instead last week).  Verdict:It was yummy! Much better than the black bean flavor. but, I think I am switching back to Amy’s,  at least I tried something new, right?!

I ate this soup with a serving of kashi crackers and a laughing cow cheese.IMG_0073 with a side of fruit salad.

IMG_0074IMG_0075This lunch was yummy and satisfying- perfect for a rainy day. I will post tonight after class with my dinner and my thoughts on how I did during my presentation…and if you are really lucky you will get to see some info about my packing (I know you are breathless awaiting this…hahahahaha). Wish my luck and see you later on tonight…have a good afternoon.
