After my last post, Adam, Deb, Dave Anthony and I headed over to board our boat. We are on the Heartbeat III. The boat is named that because the man that owns it is a heart surgeon. Cool, right?

Here are some photos of the boat:

This is where I spend the majority of time on the boat. I spend a good part of the day laying out in sun on the “trampoline” during the day and laying on it staring up at the stars. It is so awesome to be in the middle of the ocean staring up at that stars. :)

Once we boarded we here handed a drink called a pain killer. A girl could really get used to this life. Dave, Adam, Deb, yours truly and our nephew Anthony.

We sailed to our first destination and Adam, Deb and I jump right off the boat in the middle of the ocean and snorkeled to this floating rock wall and trampoline. The trampoline had a small section that you could sit on and have someone jump of the other side and catapult you off the trampoline. It was so fun. The rock wall is not nearly as easy as it looks, because it moves while you are climbing. We had a blast!

After that the 5 of us got dingied out to an island. We walked around and enjoyed the sites and sunshine.

Did I mention there were a LOT of drinks on this trip so far?

Also, the food has been out of this world. Everything has been absolutely delicious.

Since our Anniversary was Sunday, at sunset the champagne was flowing!!!!

Once we had some champagne, Stu (the Captain) decided to have a little fun with us. He tied Adam and I together to see if we could use teamwork to get out of the ropes.

We really tried…

Finally, after making asses of ourselves, Stu had mercy and untied us. :)

Did you know that this trip was my first time snorkeling? If you have been a reader for a while you know that I am not a very good swimmer. So I get nervous when in super deep open water. It took some time to get used to just breathing in and out of my mouth. As a runner I am used to going in through the nose and out through the mouth. But I caught on really quickly and now and not afraid to just jump off the boat in the middle of the ocean and snorkel. I am so glad I didn’t get the fear get to me because I would have missed out on so much! The ocean is so peaceful. I love watching the fish and turtles (so cute those turtles) in their natural habitat it is so peaceful I hardly ever want to come up.I love that our means of transportation to get to the islands from the boat are kayaking and snorkeling. It is so amazing.

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip so far:

Man Love!!!

Our pet seagull Steveie. He is not Oscar, but he will do. Also, the seagulls here are actually pretty compared to the ones at home.

TA-DA!

This is seriously a dream vacation. Lots to do, but still tons of down time. I don’t ever want this to be over!!!! I do miss running but swimming and kayaking are great workouts too :)
