New Favorite!

Hey everyone! Today is flying by, maybe because I am busy? Probably.

So as you guys know, I got a HUGE package from Pacific Natural Foods yesterday. Honestly, it came right on time, with the unusually low temps here in Boston, I could not think of anything that would be better for lunch than soup!

I decided to bring the  Curried Red Lentil soup with me to work today. It was a tough choice, since they were so generous and sent me 6 different soups! But, I choose this one because it was like nothing I have ever tried.

I just put it in my soup mug and heated it up for 3 minutes.

I love the bright color! Does anyone else love when food is colorful, or is that just me?

I ate two cups (which is 2 servings). OH MY GOSH, you guys! If you like Indian Curry, you will  love this soup. It has a smooth and creamy taste, but is low in calories with only 140 calories a serving. It is such a great curry flavor, but is not overdone. It is just enough, not too spicy. I loved this soup so much, I ditched the spoon and sipped it out of the mug. Is that weird? I hope not!

I enjoyed my soup with a few kashi crackers, a laughing cow cheese and a pear.

How freakin’ good are pears and grapes right now, by the way?! I love seasonal fruits and veggies!!!

After lunch I just chugged a long, yeah, no lunch break today, I am a busy lady! Around 3:30 (while blogging…hehehehe) I had a Peanut Butter Cookie Luna Bar.

and a decaf. Well, I am going to plug away here until 5pm. See you guys later!!!!!

Hey Ali, I’ve just subscribed to ur blog. After reading u for nearly a month now, I thought I should join your network. I remember you as a Type A person when we used to go to Dearborn, and your blog proves how far your “Freudian fixation” is taking you.
Tks to u, I’m more careful bout making healthier food choices, and I even work out a little little bit.
Well, congrats on all the great things happening to you!!!!
