Hey everyone! So sorry I have been not as committed lately to the blog. I went from blogging 2-3 times a day, to once a day (currently, I have not blogged in over 24 hours). I have been having a really hard time finding my balance for the last 2 weeks or so. I am getting used to being in classes again and all the work that that adds to my life, plus with Oscar being sick I have been extra busy. There has been a learning curve with my time management and balance and I think I have got it all figured out. So, thanks for your patience and I will be back to my 3 times a day of blogging. I really appreciate your understanding. This blog is about my real life and I am a real person with commitments that sometimes make me super busy. Sometimes in life we have periods of time that we just have to figure out where to get all the time we need for things. So with that said…I am back in full swing.
Let’s back up! After work last night, I had class. Class went well, there was a whole lot of interesting conversation!! Love that! After class, I worked at my part-time job. I got home around 8:30 and made dinner. That salad from lunch kept me so full, I was fine with not eating until 8:30pm (which is pretty late for me).
Oh, look at the cook book I bought during my lunch break!
It looks great! I can’t wait to make some of the recipes from this book! and It was on $4.99!!!!!!!!!
Dinner needed to be something quick, I wanted to watch How I Met Your Mother, it’s our favorite show! So I pulled this out of the fridge!

I took out the two big tofu pieces and cut them in half to make four thin pieces. I then grilled them on the George Forman Grill until they were hot. I had the rice and tofu with some steamed yellow and green beans.
Yum! I was in the mood for dessert for sure! I have been dying to try these!
I had half a serving, 6 crisps. I love that they have a little crunch, so different!
I had it with some tea that Wicked Bride bought me as a gift.
I loved it! I am not sure if it has caffeine. Has anyone tried it and know if it has caffeine?
After watching TV last night, I passed out! I was so tired after only about 4 hours of sleep the night before. I got a full nights sleep, thanks goodness and felt great this morning. Breakfast was a Green Monster.
and a cup of coffee (no picture) with half and half and agave nectar. Even though the Green Monster was smaller than usual, it kept me full until lunch which was great!
Lunch was left overs from last night 1/2 of the tofu, 1/2 of the rice and some green beans. I mixed it all together, mostly because I didn’t want to bring tons and tons of Tupperware with me, but it worked well all mixed together, I actually liked it much better this way.
I had it with some fruit: grapes, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries and a La Croix lemon water.
Look what I found for $4.99 yesterday too! I love this little thing!

This wall has some pins- I love the one that says “Love Your Body”, my doggie calendar, some pictures and random info (like our fax number-I forget it all the time) and my weekly calendar.
I make this every week, each pen color is a different kind of activity (school, work, part-time job, workouts, personal).

I have two quotes attached to my monitor, one was given to my by a yoga instructor.
The other is from Christopher Reeve and always makes me smile.
On the left hand side of my monitor, I have a little wall of love! It is pictures of my family and friends and has one picture from every race I have ran!
The far end has work stuff, binders, files, inbox…Oh and My boss’s book! Yup she’s an author!
I have another counter in the back, but it is empty, I use it to stack papers on and stuff like that. Twice a year a get huge amounts of paper, so I keep that space clear for the most part.
I had class again tonight, I grabbed a snack before.
1/2 an energy bar and a tall skinny vanilla latte.
After class I worked at my part-time job…so many voice-mails!!!! When I got home, look what I had waiting for me!!!! GET EXCITED!
