No Time For Being Dreary!

Good Afternoon! I have to say this deary weather is having a serious effect on me for some reason! All I want to do is go home and curl up on the couch with Oscar, I am feeling achy and tired! I better not be getting sick!  Does anyone ever have days where they feel that way? How do you motivate yourself to do the things you need to do? Technically, I can go home and spend the evening on the couch. But that would involve me skipping Body Pump and a volunteer opportunity that I do every year. So, too bad, I have no time for being dreary! I know that volunteering and Body Pump will make me happy, so I am just going to push this dreary mood aside and get over it!

Ok, that’s settled!  Lunch was a salad with loads of fresh ingredients, since our fridge is stocked again!

Whats in it? Ok, here is the list:

  • beets
  • carrots
  • cucumbers
  • tomatoes
  • spring mix
  • feta
  • hummus (garlic lovers)
  • edamame

I was getting sick of the same old dressing, so I tried this one!

I like it a lot it was super light and very tasty!!

I had an afternoon snack of lowfat cottage cheese and a clementine.

Followed by a half coffee half coco from the work coffee maker in hopes it will add some pep to my step :)

Well, I am out of here for the night and heading home to make a quick dinner, go help out with the Holiday Party at my local elderly apartment building and then it’s off to Body Pump. I won’t be back home until about 9pm!Have a great night…see you guys later!

I am feeling the same, but I MADE myself hit the gym and tomorrow I’m doing some volunteer work, too. :)

I always have trouble motivating myself to go out…especially in dreary weather. But I always feel good as soon as I get where I’m going. I’m sure you had fun helping to decorate for the elderly folks and I know they appreciated it!

Talking about dreary weather, try living in England :-) I think we are almost forgetting what the sun looks like over here ;-) Thumbs up for going to the Body Pump class, I’m sure you felt great afterwards. V.
PS. Would you mind if I add your blog to my blogroll? Thanks!
