Hey everyone! Well today just flew by! I feel like this week is FLYING!!! I have to go home and pack for my NYC trip tonight and I am stressed about it! Packing always gives me anxiety because I want to bring my whole closet with me and can’t! Hopefully, I can get it all together tonight and do it stress free. Fingers Crossed!Does anyone else get packing anxiety?
Lunch today was a big salad, as I am trying to use up the fresh produce that won’t make it through the weekend before I head out tomorrow after work.
The salad contained:
- Spring Mix
- Leftover green beans
- Beets
- Tomatoes
- Cucumbers
- Red Peppers
- Feta
- Edamame
yummm, right? I dressed it with this dressing!
The beets were the best part! I love adding beets to my salad, Nothing beats beets, right!?
Around 4:00pm I had a snack, Kashi cheese crakcers:
and an apple, Can you believe I still have apples from when we went apple picking?
In other news:
As you all know, in Honor of Thanksgiving being right around the corner, I will be posting something I am thankful for in every post. PLEASE feel free to join in in the comments section! So for this post:
I AM THANKFUL FOR: OSCAR!!
Come on, you knew this was coming! A little history: About 7 years ago, Adam and I bought is mom a dog for Christmas, his name is Pumpkin!
About 2 year’s later, Adam’s sister Amanda bought Lilly.
(she is the one in the foreground). Well, she went into heat and they did what dogs do and Lilly gave birth to 6 beautiful male dachshund puppies. When she went into labor, Adam called me (he was living at home at the time) and I rushed over. Adam’s mom and I helped Lil deliver her pups (one was actually stillborn and Adam’s Dad did mouth to snout and revived it and it is happy and healthy today…story for another day). Oscar was the first born and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! I was living at home at the time and my parents did not want another dog. But, when I took Oscar over the house to meet them, it was case closed!
My dad could not resist this face!
(baby Oscar). A few of my friends are convinced Osc is my soul mate! He is funny, energetic and very loving!
Here is baby Oscar with his Dad!
He is a great cuddler!
Helps out in the kicthen!
and loves getting dressed up!
Actually, that is a lie, he hates dressing up, but I think it is funny, so too bad! Not to mention he is famous now! He made is debut on Caitlin’s blog today!
Honestly, Oscar NEVER fails to put a smile on my face, he is one of the biggest joys of my life and I love him so very much!!! I am so grateful for his puppy kisses every day

I’ve got some serious packing stress right now!
Oh my gosh… I LOVE baby Oscar!!!
I am experiencing 10/10 packing anxiety right now. I called Britt and she said if you roll clothes you can fit more… so far its working! Good luck!
Love the Oscar post! My pets are my babies, too. Unfortunately, our cat of 6 years got out a couple of weeks ago and we have yet to find her.
The house doesn’t feel right with out her.
Yep, I absolutely hate packing! I like variety when I travel, and as a result, I pack as much as possible (but doesn’t go over the 50 lbs weight limit!) and am embarrassed any time anyone picks up my bag. At least I look good while I am there, right?!
Crate Training Dogs…
Wow keep up the good work….
