OPPSIES!

Ok, so I left my camera wire plugged into my work computer yesterday when I left, so I could not blog when I got home last night. Ok, well, I guess I COULD have blogged but there would be no pictures and that would be boring, no?

So anyways, here I am catching up this morning. I have not been to the grocery store in a little over a week, so you will notice that I have to get a little creative.

Yesterday’s Lunch:

Soy burger on a whole wheat sandwich thin with mustard, pickle and a lite laughing cow. On the side I had an apple and salt and vinegar popchips!

I loved these chips. Salt and vinegar is my favorite chip flavor and these did not disappoint. They had TONS of flavor and the chips reminded me of a rice cake/potato chip hybrid…really good.

I had a small afternoon snack of veggies and hummus while finishing up at work.

After work, I headed out for about an hour and a half to run a quick errand with my dad. Once I got home, I preheated the oven for dinner and returned some calls for my part time job. It was make your own pizza night in the FFF household (aka Adam’s favorite dinner).

My side was topped with spinach, artichoke hearts, mushrooms and olives. I ate my whole half I was hungry!

For dessert I had a single serving of Edy’s Slow Churned Vanilla.

The rest of the night was all about relaxing. I just hung out with the boys and watched a little TV followed a 10pm bedtime :)

I got up this morning feeling super rested, funny what a solid 8 hours can do huh? For breakfast, I pulled this out of the freezer.

I never had one of these before and thought I would give it a try.

I enjoyed it with a clementine and some coffee.

The burrito was ok. It had tiny potatoes, some tofu, tomatoes and black beans in it. I think I would have liked it topped with a little spicy salsa, but we were out. It was fine, but not fantastic like most other Amy’s products I have tried. I don’t think I will go out of my way to buy it again, but it wasn’t bad. Just meh I guess.

Today’s outfit:

I feel so festive today!!! Black pumps (Marshalls), Black wide legs pants (Express), Plaid top (Gap), Green velvet blazer ( H&M).

It is a freezing cold day today, I think it is currently 17 degrees out! BRRRR! I an going to have to brave the cold today during my lunch break to get a little more shopping done. I need to get a few more things for Adam and my Pa, something for my boss, something for my bloggy secret santa and I need to stop and pick up my mom’s gift later on after the gym. Any ideas of what to get the rest of the people on my list? How is your Holiday shopping coming? Are you finished? Almost there? Haven’t started?

Well, I will see you guys in a bit! Have a great Thursday!

  5. I just made homemade pizza last night too! It was soooo scrumptious. I try to do it once a week as well. It’s just so easy, fast and delicious!

I agree, Amy’s breakfast burrito is not my fave. :( Pizza night has been a fave in my house lately, too. I have yet to give up my pepperoni, though, so I’ve been going with 2% mozzarella and turkey pepperoni.
