Good afternoon! WOW this is a busy, busy week for me! I have to admit I am feeling slightly overwhelmed. Between class, working, writing papers and running important errands, and attending events; I have not one night that I get to come home from work and relax at all this week. I am always busy, but usually I have one day that I am able to relax after work and chill out with Adam and Oscar. Not so this week and it is sort of bumming me out. I have another paper to write tonight that is due tomorrow. Hopefully, I will get it done in a timely manner and be able to relax a little bit. I also have a lot of work to get done by weeks end, so hopefully, I can get it all done tomorrow and Friday. Sigh. I am so busy!
Lunch was glorious left overs from last night!
It was even tastier the second time around, I think the dressing really set in. YUMMMMM!
Well, I am off to get some things done before heading home. I was planning on making up for my missed run this morning right after work,But, I may just go home and start working on my paper. Hopefully, I can get this paper done then enjoy a later workout with Adam when he gets home from his overtime. I would rather get the paper out of the way and then enjoy a run rather than stress about the paper while running.
We shall see….
In Other News:

2. I found a quote that I loooove today! I printed it out and tape it to my monitor at work. Don’t you looove it? So true too!
In case you missed a little tour of my cubicle, I also have these quotes tacted to my monitor.
3. “Ask Me Anything” Questions:
Q: So you have been on antibiotics for your skin for over a year??? Isn’t that bad for you? I have heard that that can cause yeast overgrowth in your body and lead to things like chronic yeast infections. I have been on antibiotics for my skin for about 3 weeks and WOW it helps so much, but I am wondering how long I’ll have to be on them?? I find that being on the pill and being in the sun helps my skin a lot, too. I totally feel your pain – adult skin problems are the WORST!! Especially when you have a career and have to face people everyday! You really do have great skin now!
A: I have been on antibiotics for my acne for over a year. It is not bad for me, I have asked a lot of questions about this and discussed what my best option is with my dermatologist. It is a fairly low dose and in comparison to many other options (Acsutane etc.) it has a very little side effect. I have not had any issues with yeast infections (although that is a little personal). But, then again I can see where that could happen to some people, everyone’s body is different. I am sure you an your doctor will work together to figure out what is right for you.

Your life does sound really really busy!!! I hope you soon get to take some time for yourself! You deserve it!
Sorry bout that – I just re-read my question and it came off kinda rude/personal. Didn’t mean it that way. Thanks for the response!!
I’ve been on antibiotics for a while now too and agree that it definitely helps. Doesn’t it seem weird?!
Keep plugging away at your busy week, it’ll be the weekend soon enough!!!

Goodness that is a delicious looking lunch. I love the beans, rice, and lettuce combo…mmmm…
Those are definitely inspiring quotes. I should thinking about putting some up on my computer monitor at work too!!
Take care of yourself…it’s easy to get over stressed and over worked, so sleep lots, eat well, and don’t forget to pamper yourself!
I love that you have quotes around your workspace! Those are some good ones.
LOVE that mouse pad also!
Sara

I do Not want to ask any questions about yeast infections but I would love it if you posted about your skin/the antibiotics sometimes. My I have bad-ish skin but I feel like I almost don’t know what to do to deal with it.
That’s an awesome mouse pad! I’m actually in the market for a new one so I’d love to know where you found it if you don’t mind sharing.
Sure!!! I got it at http://www.zazzle.com Enjoy!
Just wanted to mention that having candida overgrowth (ie yeast problems) doesn’t necessarily mean someone will develop a yeast infection- *tons* of people have candida issues, including men, and many women never get yeast infections even though they have candida related problems. I took antibiotics after surgery a year ago and my skin cleared up as well, but remaining on them means you are killing off your good gut flora all the time- and taking probiotics won’t necessarily help until you stop taking antibiotics. Even low doses do that- they don’t descriminate in regards to the bactera they’re killing. It’s awesome if you haven’t developed any serious side effects yet, but I’m not sure why a dermatologist would recommend them on an ongoing basis- they aren’t going to ever balance your system out.
