Tonight was make your own pizza night in this house
We started off with these stop n’ shop brand whole wheat pizza crusts.
I made two separate pizzas, one for me and one for Adam. We have very different ideas of the perfect pizza. Both pizzas started off with this sauce (mine had more sauce than Adam’s).
Here is Adam’s before going in the over…little sauce LOTS of cheese:
And after being baked for about 10 minutes:
Her is mine before, it had sauce, reduced fat mozzarella, a few chunks of goat cheese, mushrooms, and quartered artichoke hearts:
After:
I asked Adam to cut the pieces small, I like it that way. I had about 5 little pieces and still have about four left over for dinner another day.
I am sure you will be seeing this delicious and healthy pizza another night this week for dinner
I forgot to say in my last post that I signed up to run a 5k last minute. My new friend Ashley (Hi, Ashley!!!!) e-mailed me to see if I wanted to do it and I thought, “hey, why not?” So I will be running a 5k race on Saturday morning with Ashley and Adam. It should be a nice run along the beach and the weather should be beautiful! I am thinking back on my first 5k race three months ago…I have a feeling this one will be a whole lot easier as I have improved so much as a runner since then. I am treating it as a fun run, not trying to go for a specific time, but just enjoying running with Ashley and Adam. I am really excited to run with Ashley, we met about a month ago and I am excited to hang out with her and get to run (and go for breakfast after
) with her. It should be good run, I will definitely let you know how it goes! Thanks for asking me to run with you, Ashley:) YAY! Well, I am off to bed, 5:30 wake up call (ugh I lost my gym card, so I hope they will replace for me in the morning with no trouble, Adam and I searched the whole house for it). See you tomorrow!

You may even get a good upper body workout when you carry me across the finish line, super woman.
j/k I should be fine. I ran last Saturday’s in 28 minutes.
Oh and is it weird that its 7:30am and given the chance right now I would DEVOUR your pizza?? Artichokes and mushrooms are my fav on pizza!
Ashley: LOL I will not be carrying you over any finish line! 28 minutes is a GREAT time, that is what I finished my first 5k in (actually I think it was 28:42). We will have make Pizza together sometime:)
