Presentation Success!

Hello! So sorry for the delay on my post,  I have been busy and when I am not busy I have been tired. Yesterday, I was sooooo slammed here. I worked through my lunch again. Lunch was leftover pizza from Sunday night. Can you believe I got 4 meals out of this pizza?! That is a lot, huh?? I also had a small side salad with it that contained spring mix, tomato, cucumbers and red peppers.

Around 3:30pm I had a snack. Being up at 5:00 yesterday morning caused me to hit that 3:00 wall for sure. Since I had a presentation to give in class last night with my group, I knew I needed a little extra energy. I had a grande iced coffee with a little bit of sugar-free syrup and some half and half. I also had a dark mocha almond bar. I know I have written before about not liking these, but they have grown on me and now I looooove them. Go figure!

Our presentation in class last night went very, very well in my opinion. I have gotten so much better at presenting, remember my last presentation I had to give? How I was so stressed and how nervous I came across during it? I think I have gotten better at it? Maybe it is because now I write a blog everyday for thousands of people to read?! Thanks for making me less nervous to public speak :) Boy, the benefits of this blog are soooo plentiful! Oh- as I was writing this post I got a e-mail from my professor that we got a 96% on out presentation! :) YES!

After my presentation. I met Adam at Emmets for a few post-presentation beers and some dinner.  We both ordered a Harpoon White.

Adam and I split nachos as an appetizer. Sometimes a girl needs some nachos!

I dipped my chips in some salsa and left the sour cream alone. For my meal I ordered the onion soup. Onion soup is one of my favorites!

I think I filled up on nachos because I could only eat half of the soup. Adam and I stayed for one more beer. I got the Celtic Ale in honor of St. Patrick’s day :)

Those two beers made me so sleepy, that I got into bed at 9pm, no blogging, no tv, no nothing and slept like a baby all night!

This morning I had something for breakfast I have not had in almost a year. Cereal and milk! Whenever I have cereal, I usually have it with yogurt and very rarely have it with milk. Not for any reason, I just don’t think too. Since we are pretty much out of yogurt (and everything else for that matter) I had it with fat free milk. YUM YUM! I had 1 cup of  Kashi GoLean, 1 cup of fat free milk, 1/2 of a banana and the rest of the strawberries we had in the fridge. There was also some coffee :)

Adam drove me into work today because he had the day off and he loves me :) I worker alllll morning and through lunch. Lunch was a big salad that contained:

  • Spring Mix
  • Red Peppers
  • Cucumbers
  • Tomatoes
  • Feta
  • Salsa
  • Tuna
  • edamame
  • corn

Today’s Outfit:

Dark jeans (GAP), Green cardigan (Old Navy), Black Flats (Steve Madden).

I am so excited that the weekend is finally upon us! I actually have a pretty low key weekend coming up and I am pretty excited about it.

Tomorrow:

  • Pre-Cana (Wedding classes that the Catholic Church makes you do). 9:30 am-4 pm
  • Dinner with Adam
  • Relaxing, I am sure Pre-Cana will wear us out. I have heard it is not the most fun time ;)

Sunday:

  • Body Pump at 10am
  • Going to a friend’s house for the the St. Patrick’s Day parade

In Other News:

1. I AMMMMMM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!! My friend Kara lives in TX and had a day or so lay over in CT next week and me and my friend Crystal are going to pick her up from the airport and hang out with her for a few days! I haven’t seen Kara since August when I went to visit her in TX. It is strange to have a friend to talk to everyday, but don’t see in person all that often, so I am thrilled. It should be fun. And, the very next day, I fly to Baltimore for Fitbloggin’ .

  1. My husband and I had to take a class to get married at our church. It was only one day and I thought it was kind’ve lame. My husband and I would have been better off taking a one-on-two thing instead of a group class. It was too generic. Here’s hoping yours is better!!

  2. Congratulations on your presentation! Woo hoo!

  3. Yay for your great mark!!! I love your outfit today – it’s the perfect ‘Friday and it’s almost Spring’ outfit :)

  4. Girl, sounds like you are running yourself ragged. You may need a relaxing spa day ;) . Nachos are my weakness. I heart them! Congrats on your presentation and glad you liked the new pump 73 release. Told you chest was a killer! lol

  5. Way to go on the presentation!! You must be so relieved.

I know what you mean about always having cereal with yogurt. Sometimes rockin’ the classic cereal and milk combo is so much more satisfying!
