Hi everyone! Well I walked home from work today even in this heat! When I got home I checked my voice-mail for my part-time job and then Adam and I set out for a run. We PUSHED IT tonight for sure. We ran 4.75 miles in the heat and humidity. I have to admit it may have been the hardest run I have ever done. Mainly because this humidity makes it harder to breathe and since I smoked only a year and a half ago (and for 11 years), my lungs are already not the greatest. After I felt amazingly proud and amazingly sweaty! Adam and I make a great team when it comes to this stuff (I guess we should after being together for almost 11 years!) We can really do anything when we are together, we push each other in such the perfect way, in running and in life in general. Ok, ok enough with the mussy stuff…well almost.
Adam being the great guy he is, got my car washed and detailed for me today while I was at work. Look how pretty it looks: Outside:

After our run I had a scoop of protein powder and 5 oz. of fat free milk before hopping in a COLD shower
For dinner, I defrosted a piece of chicken my mom had given me from her left overs about a month ago, it was marinated in an apple marinade. I LOVE IT! I think there are a few more pieces in my freezer. Adam heated it up for me on grill while he cooked his steak tips. For sides I had steamed broccoli and carrots from the freezer as well.
I like this brand because it is orgainic, quick, cheap and there is enough for two servings so I always have left overs
I also made some rice, I have been looking for these everywhere and found them at Market Basket in New Hampshire. I am hoping the one near me gets them soon too!
I loved this Curry flavor, it reminded me of Indian Food!!!! While get the sides ready for Adam and I, I ate two raw almonds:

My meal was good. It reminded me of a buffet in Vegas. The chicken reminded me of Chinese Food because of the marinade, the veggies had an Italian taste because they were cooked with garlic and the rice tasted Indian. It was like those around the world buffets that are all over Vegas, but MUCH healthier! I ate all but a bit eof the chicken (it fell off my fork and right into Oscar’s mouth, no joke…lucky dog), all the veggies (of course) and about 3/4 of the rice.
For dessert I had a 1/3 of a cup of Stoneyfield Farms coffee frozen yogurt, and 1/3 of a cup of Stonefield Farms chocolate frozen yogurt with 5 mini dark chocolate chips.
Yummmmmm…..
I like eating frozen yogurt out of juice glasses because it is cute and the perfect amount. Well, this girl is worn out and ready for bed. Sleep tight!

It does feel SO good after.

Yeah, that run was soooooo difficult! I actually cried after it, mostly because I was so proud of myself self for pushing through and also because I was having a hard time catching my breathe!
