Sorry for my absence. I have actually been busy with my internship and redesigning blogs. Pssssst- check out Food, Fitness, Fashion’s new look. You likely? I also redesigned Coffee With Caesar, my friend Jack’s website,  yesterday.

I spent about 6 hours tonight pining over what I wanted to do with FFF. I knew it was time for a change, but I had no idea what I wanted or even if I could do it myself (which I could- yay me!). I have to admit, I was kind of just being a brat because now that Jack’s site looks good, I wanted mine to look shiny and new too. Website jealousy I admit it. I started working on it right when I got home from my internship and then decided to take a Crossfit break. The workout had us jumping into a tire, over it, running around it and flipping it over for the length of the gym, as well as many other Crossfit gems (like burpees). Well half way though my tire flips I jumped over the tire and rolled my right ankle. When I rolled it I heard a loud “CRUNCH”. Then I immediately felt PAIN!!! The kind of pain that makes you want to yell bad words and then cry. I really had to work hard to fight back the tears. Other Crossfitters were coming over to see if I was okay and I could only give one word answers. It hurt that bad.

Poor Zach, then trainer was freaking out trying to get ice on it immediately. He was kind of adorable about it. He said, “I have never had someone hurt themselves in my class before, I was nervous. ” Sorry, Zach! :( I sat with my ankle packed in ice and elevated on someone’s gym bag (thank you, unknown fellow Crossfitter) for the majority of the class until the pain subsided enough for me to get my sad self home.

(high quality iPhone photo ;) )

Oh and you may or may not have noticed that this is my “good” foot. Yup, awesome! I spent the night with it elevated, iced and took some ibuprofen. Since I was stuck on the couch I figured “why not cause destruction on the internet, right?” In an attempt to edit the width my blog- I completely crashed the thing. The funny thing about web editing is one measly “{” or “$” in the wrong place and you are totally screwed!

I 100% understand how this lady feels!

Luckily, Savvy Julie makes house calls (actually, I am pretty sure she doesn’t, I am just obnoxious). I called Julie frantic and she was so sweet and helpful. Together we put my blog back together and I even got to finish my makeover. All is well that ends well, right?

As for my ankle, it feels a little better. I can {kinda} walk on it now. Let’s see how it feels tomorrow.

How was your night?

Oh, I hope your ankle feels better!! I remember hurting my ankle when I was playing racquetball. I was with my family so the expletives did not fly (and I was 13 at the time). But it hurt like a mother!
