Morning!!! This morning I got up at 6:20 (went to bed at 10:30pm…almost 8 hours
) and met reader (and new friend) Julia for a run along the Charles River. It was a chilly morning here in Boston. Luckly, I was wearing my new running tights I got at TJ Maxx for like $10! I was searching for some nice running tights because when I wear my wider leg pants, the wind goes right up my legs. I was so excited when I found these Nike DryFit Running Tights (originally priced at $65.00) at TJ Maxx. God, I love that store!

They kept me super warm! My run this morning was about 5.5 miles. The Garmin died close to the end so I can’t be 100% sure! I guess, I need to be better about charging it, I had no idea the battery dies so fast! Live and learn! All in all it was a GREAT RUN! I really love running with Julia because she is faster than me and that pushed me. I run at a faster pace when I am with her, and though it is not easy, I think it is making me a better runner! We also always have a lot to talk about and have a lot in common, but enough different that it is interesting
Don’t you just love running partners?! I look forward to our meet up every week!
Breakfast:

I didn’t know what I wanted for breakfast this morning, so I made a little platter

Last berry bran muffin that I made Saturday night, morningstar veggie sausage, 2 hard boiled egg whites.

Fruit: grapes, blueberries and raspberries. I also had some pumpkin spice coffee. It was exactly what I wanted. I love having a whole bunch of little things when I don’t know what I want
All morning while eating breakfast, showering, doing hair and makeup I noticed my little shadow, Oscar was missing. When I went into our bedroom to get dressed, I found this:

He looks like the witch from the Wizard of Oz, when the house fell on her! I guess he was sleepy?!
Here is today’s outfit:

Literally EVERYTHING in this picture is something I have owned for 4 plus years! Brown boots (Nine West), Brown Cord Trousers (Jacob), Argyle Vest (Gap), White Top (Express). I love argyle, I think it always looks so polished while adding color and pattern. My papa says I love it because I am Scottish. Maybe it’s in my genes.
See you guys at lunch! Have a great day!

Good tips on the running tights. I’m in Boston also and have been looking all over for a pair that I like. I’ll have to check TJ Maxx!
I love how you seem to find classic, quality pieces and keep them for a long time. P.S. Thanks for entering the giveaway on my blog for two cancer awareness prize packs: http://lovinlosing.com/.
Your pup is so cute! I’m waiting for his little legs to shrink up like the Wicked Witch
Good job on the run and good for you challenging yourself with a fast partner!
