Two Blogger Fails.

Wow! Today was nutty!!!! I very rarely have days like this but when I do, I am pooped by the end. Tomorrow may be  the same if not, crazier! This morning Adam got up at 4:45 am to drive his dad to the airport. Obviously, I woke up to the alarm too. But, I was able to fall back to sleep. The problem was, when the alarm went off about an hour later for me to get up and get on the train to go to Body Pump, I was exhausted from being up an hour earlier. Luckily, there is a great Tuesday night class I can go to as well, so I went back to bed for another hour and decided to take the class tonight.

Breakfast was a delicious Green Monster and a chocolate Vitatop.

I realized today that I like vitatops better than vitamuffins. I know the are the same thing, but for some reason I like the tops better. Anyone else feel that way?

There were two big blogger fails today:

  • I ate lunch in a meeting so there is no picture (lunch provided by work…score)
  • I was so busy, I could not find the time to get an outfit picture

Lunch was a mix greens with some grilled veggies (peppers, eggplant and zucchini) and 2 grilled shrimp, 2 small pieced of grilled chicken and a small scoop of tuna salad.

My outfit was a pair of wide leg black capris and a hot pink sheer top with a flesh colored cami under it. Can you picture it? Good!!!

After my meeting and lunch I had an Adora disk while getting things together for my next meeting!

After 2pm, I had kale chips as a snack.

The day FLEW BY0 it felt like a blinked my eye and it was over!  I was exhausted when I left work. I knew that if I wanted the energy to make dinner and go to Body Pump I HAD to have a little help from caffeine. I stopped on the way home and got a medium non-fat mocha.

Dinner was quick and easy. I grabbed this couscous out of the cabinet. It was super easy to make.

While cooking that I grilled up some tequila lime chicken tenders on a stick and roasted some fresh brussle sprouts. My Plate:

Everything was so good. Especially the brussel sprouts! They were super easy too! I just quartered the sprouts, spread them on a cookie sheet, topped then with 1 tablespoon of EVOO and sea salt and garlic power and cooked them at 400 degrees until they were crispy :) Yummmm!

After dinner Adam and I did the dishes and then I went to Body Pump. I think I am getting ready to move up a little in weight!!!! I am not quite there yet, but I can feel it coming! I feel so strong :)

When I came home from BP, Adam was snacking on some whole grain goldfish. I have a few handfuls too. Why are goldfish so good? WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!

Well, I got to do a few things and then I am off to bed. I am meeting my friend Steph for a run in the morning! Goodnight!!!

    Sometimes life gets in the way of blogging. It happens. I am sure you wore something super cute as always :) !

  4. Oh my gosh, goldfish crackers are one of my biggest weaknesses. I can’t have just one serving..more l ike 10. So salty and yummy. They remind me of my childhood, my mom and grandma always used to serve them to us at snack time with either grape juice or chocolate milk.
