Hey!!! Looks like I am getting you guys updated :) Yesterday, I got up and got ready for my day asap. I had a date with FFF Dad to go pick out tiles for the bathrooms in my house. I whipped up a green smoothie for breakfast, I blended together:

  • 1 banana
  • spinach
  • unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • frozen strawberries
  • ice
  • orange juice
  • flax seeds
  • vanilla protein powder

FFF Dad and I had a very productive day and I actually picked out the tile for my master bath shower and floor. You like?

It is a caramel colored marble look. I think it will look great with the cherry wood double vessel vanity we will have in our master bath. I really can’t wait for you guys to see it when it is done, which will be really soon (!!!!!).

For the guest bathroom, I picked white porcelain for the shower and a gray slate looking tile for the floor. I wasn’t sure what color I wanted for the floor, but I currently have white tile in our apartment and it shows everything little thing! You clean it and then two seconds later it looks filthy again. The sales man helped me pick the gray and I LOVE the way the white porcelain pops.

Those are just samples, but you get the point. :)

After tile shopping FFF Dad and I went to the Warren Tavern for lunch.  I had french onion soup (they have the best FOS).

I also had the salmon and argula salad. I could only eat about half of it, the soup filled me up.

After lunch I grabbed and iced coffee and headed to my foot specialist. We chatted about how the boot doesn’t seem helping. He gave me some tips to maybe improve it. I talked to him about how my orthotics gave be blisters. He told me not to wear them for a few weeks. He decided that I should start going to physical therapy twice a week for about 8 weeks for both feet. It appears that my right ankle is started to deteriorate a little because it is making up for my left foot being in a lot of pain. About half way through the PT I will try the orthotics again. I am so glad m doctor is so committed to getting my feet back to normal.

After the doctor I went to my part-time job to go a little work before heading up to the house to see the progress. That is seriously my favorite part of my day.

When I went up to my house I got so excited to see that WE HAVE WALLS!!!! Seriously, I have never been more excited to see walls in my whole life! The whole house is completely sheet rocked and rumor has it by Saturday the plaster should be all up!

That room is actually the future Office of Food, Fitness, Fashion. :)

When I arrived home, I found a lovely package from the fabulous folks at Five Bamboo :)

I can’t want to wear it!! I will let you know how I like it :)

I had class from 7:10-9:55. It was a good class, we all talked about what we had going on in our internships. I think it will be a cool as the semester progresses, we will learn a lot from each other and I look forward to that. While in class I made a huge mistake by drinking a coffee.

That coffee kept me up ALLLLLLLL night, as a result, I only got 3 hours of sleep last night :(

When I got home from class, I had dinner…at 10 pm, which is not ideal but what can you do? I had class. I had tomato soup and a whole wheat sandwich thin topped with hummus.

  1. Wow, I REALLY like that gray tile against the white, too! Nice choice! It sounds like your house is really coming along–that is so exciting; I can’t wait to see the final product!

    Have a great day!
