Hey guys! I am guessing that my sudden shift in priorities has left you all a little confused. I have been going back and forth in my head about what to do about my blog. The idea of having to update you guys on almost a week of my life got so overwhelming that I considered not blogging anymore. The thought crossed my mind a few times. I KNOW….that is nuts right?!
So I have decided that in interest of not overwhelming myself, I would simply just start up again. I did photograph what little food had been eaten over the last few days, but honestly, I think you guys will be OK if I just start from now, right? I have pretty much maintained my healthy eating habits and haven’t been super creative so it would actually be pretty boring . I am slowly getting back to myself but I think that the following things added together have made for a pretty exhausting and overwhelming week:
- Dealing with some pretty heavy stuff, personally
- Erica’s wedding (fun, but VERY BUSY)
- Time Change
- Working 2 jobs
- Going to School
I have manged to get in some running, 9 miles total this week. But, I will say, I am still pretty exhausted and think that for the next few days I may be trading exercise for sleep when I can. As a huge advocate for self-care, self-love and listening to your body, I am making sure to practice what I preach
Thanks for all you support and understanding…you girls (and guys- yup I have some male readers!!) are awesome! Sigh, feels so good to get that off my chest and to really be back!!!!
One thing I know I can’t just brush over with you guys is the Wicked Reception, a lot of you guys have been looking forward to the wedding posts. Honestly, I can’t deprive you guys of this because it was pretty freakin’ awesome. So, without further ado…I give you the WICKED RECEPTION!!!

I started off the reception with a beer and a glass of champagne. Let me just stay there were many beers to follow
Erica made and thought up all the decor herself.

Her and Mike (groom) painted this canvas with their monogram, it was beautiful and a ton of work, it was in their living room for a few months!

The bride and groom danced their first dance to “The Book of Love ” by Peter Gabriel. They looked so happy out there and had pretty sweet moves too!

Here is a video I took of Erica and her dad (Art) dancing, don’t you LOVE this version of “Isn’t She Lovely” ?
Here is the video I took of Mike and his mom dancing. So Sweet!!!
Erica and Mike cut the cake to “The Sweetest Thing” by U2
Later on, us Bridesmaids dedicated “Umbrella” to Erica and we all danced, the fourth bridesmaid included (Andy- Erica’s Brother).
Here are some pictures I took throughout the night!

I hope everything is okay! Lots of prayers with you
Girl, do what you gotta do!
I would feel totally overwhelmed posting every meal and everything I did, which is why I just blog when I feel like it or have some fun recipe or event to talk about! Just do whatever works for you – the blog should be FUN, not an obligation
Gorgeous reception, btw – I love the black and white theme.

By the way, you’re a machine! I don’t know how you find so many hours in a day to get so much stuff done. No worries about blogging!
