Good Morning! After sleeping until 10 am the past three days, I made it a point to get up early and get my day started. Sleeping until 10 am those mornings was glorious, don’t get me wrong, but now it is time to get things moving. I am not as sore as I expected to be today, but I am really tight. My legs (especially my calfs) are super tight. My left leg it a lot tighter than my right. My left….er, buttock (?) is TIIIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTTT! So I declare today YOGA day! Yoga is such a great complement to running. Honestly, I love yoga and don’t do it enough as I should/ would like to. I had planned on running again today, but my body is putting up a big stop sign and I am listening to her. So, I will be going to an 85 minute vinyasa flow class at 9:30, which will surely be a challenge in it’s own right. Those vinyasa classes can really kick a girl’s booty
Let’s hope I make it through!
Breakfast this morning was the delicious crock pot oats I prepared last night. I scooped out a serving and topped it with brown sugar and natural maple syrup. I accidently put it a “healthy “amount of syrup…oh well, it tasted delicious!!! I loved how the apples and bananas just melted right into the oatmeal.
Right now I am enjoying a cup of coffee while catching up on blogs and getting ready for yoga.
Today’s plans include:
- 85 minute Vinyasa Flow
- Shower, lunch
- Work at my part-time job
- Returning some Christmas gifts that were too big
- Shopping (we need napkins, trash bags ect.)
- Laundry (never ending chore!)
